CIE Experimental Basic School

Introduction

The CIE Experimental Basic School, 33 Chhatra Marg, University of Delhi is a school managed by Department of Education University of Delhi. The school offers primary and secondary education from class 1 to 8. The children of this school primarily belong to marginalised/underserved sections of the society. With the aim of overall personality development of the CIE children, CCAW took initiatives for personality development, gender sensitization, general awareness, debate club, celebrating days of national and international importance, environment protection, art and craft, physical activities and sports, self-defence, health and hygiene, safety and protection sessions at school. The session on parenting also initiated by the CCAW. The mind and body are interconnected, and such activities help children improve their emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
