Masoom Special School

Introduction

Masoom School is a Special School that educates children, aged 6-12 years, with intellectual and developmental disabilities like Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome and provides them behavioural therapy, speech therapy, basic life skills creative skills training. The children are trained in making handmade products which are exhibited Art stalls in different locations. The CCAW has been organising creative and recreational therapeutic sessions for them where they were able to express their thoughts and emotions through arts and crafts. Also, providing children the exposure to real world learning through exposure visits for generating social skills, confidence, awareness and sensory experience through cognitive enhancement.
